As Sandye and I are HUGE Proponents of Crystal Therapy and Reiki/Crystal Integration as it pertains to healing, I wanted to share with you descriptions of Crystals – along with their metaphysical properties and what aspects of our bodies (physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional) are benefited by them. CRYSTAL PROPERTIES GUIDE – A through C
Aegirine – Excellent stone to help restore harmony and bring in positive energy. Helps with energy generation. Can also be used to help cleanse chakra and bring them back into balance.
Alexandrite – Returns one to original source. Balances mental, emotional and etheric bodies. Stone of good fortune. Expands creativity.
Amazonite – This magical stone is from Russia is not only beautiful but its healing properties are amazing. It is a type of feldspar; that is very, very soothing to the nervous system. It has heart strengthening qualities. It helps to align the mental and etheric body. It brings One joy to hold it an instant upliftment of Spirit! You can make medicine pouches for people with this to help them increase their creative expressions. Another interesting fact about Amazonite is the Egyptians valued it for they thought it contained the powers of the sun.
Amethyst - The energy of amethyst is divine connection. Amethyst is a variety of quartz. Its energy can enhance intuition and meditation. Amethyst will help you to resonate with your divine guidance. Amethyst is a Wind Element Ally. The Wind element governs the realms of the mind and the spirit world. Amethyst can be used on the crown or third eye chakra.
Amphibole – This is from Brazil and is made up of kaolinite which is the white to yellow tone and that activates your spiritual evolvement This mineral can also produce a cleansing or purging of toxins. Also it contains hematite, which also stimulates attunements, but this mineral can help us to remain cool and balanced. Hematite can help to help dissipate heat and pain. And it contains limonite, which is the brown/yellow colors. This mineral assists one in opening up to infinite powers and possibilities. It provides us with strength and vitality and last but not least this stone is encompassed in quartz, which amplifies all these healing powers, and transmits the awesome energy. This stone is known for opening up new horizons.
Angelite – Angelite is an Anhydrite. It is very good for helping to enhance your connection to your inner guides and Higher Self and to celestial beings. It helps to make you tranquil and know that “all is well”. It can help you become more grounded and present in the “here and now”. It absolutely enhances communication and creativity. The chakras we most associate it will is the throat and heart! Enhances one’s perception of and connection to their own inner guidance and angelic influences. Enhances creativity, communication and self expression. Is beneficial to the nervous system.
Apatite - Helps to develop clairvoyance, enhances creativity, clears mental confusion. Very good stone to balance our bodies – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Excellent stone to help one with acceptance. Acceptance of people, places and things that might otherwise upset a person. It is known as the universal acceptance stone. With continued use, one can achieve unconditional love and acceptance.
Apophylite – Helps one to let go of rigid patterns. Brings in clarity and purification of mind, heart and soul. Very good for bringing in joy and lightness of spirit, uplifting and cheerful. Beneficially influences the eyes, heart, muscles, and adrenal glands. Connections to ALL Chakras.
Aquamarine – The energy of aquamarine is true expression. Aquamarine is a variety of beryl. Its energy can aid in creative expression and truthful communication. Aquamarine will help you to resonate with open and truthful communication. Aquamarine is a Water Element Ally. The Water element uses the powers of cleansing, emotion and communication. Aquamarine can be used on the throat, heart and solar plexus.

Bloodstone – Powerful cleanser for physical body, purifies blood & strengthens blood cleansing organs, brings awareness to kundalini energy, provides vitality, inner guidance.
Blue Lace Agate – The energy of blue lace agate is calm, truthful verbal expression. Blue Lace Agate is a variety of chalcedony, which is considered a member of the quartz family. It will help you to resonate with calm, truthful expression. It can help introverted people, bringing them out of themselves. Blue lace agate can help one in expanding their consciousness. Blue lace agate can be used on the throat and heart chakra.
Calcite (pink) – Pink Calcite vibrates to the essence of all possibilities within Self. This Pink Calcite is very fluffy and is angelic by nature. Its holder will feel an instant connection to the Angelic Realms simply by holding it. It can assist you in manifesting trust and gentleness. It is an excellent stone to hold for comfort, peace and manifesting all possibilities. It seems to touch our inner child letting, reminding us of pure innocence and childhood bliss. This batch of Pink Calcite seems to contain all the seven rays of the rainbow spectrum and facilitates rebirth into the new millennium!
Calcite (white/clear) – Calcite in all colors is very good for reducing stress and is emotionally balancing. It is a very joyful, bright, light filled stone! White/clear calcite is best use for enhancing communication and vision. You may find that it helps you feel connected with and be one with the entire universe. White/clear calcite also can be used for experiencing higher planes of existence, opening you up to new experiences on those levels.
Calcite (yellow/golden) – This type of calcite helps one to know what is true. You may find that golden/yellow calcite helps you to learn how to trust your own intuition and inner wisdom. Putting golden/yellow calcite in a room can help create a state of joyous clarity. The sunny, golden tones bring in light and joy. This type of calcite is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face!
Carnelian – The energy of carnelian is one of creative action. Carnelian is a variety of chalcedony, which is considered a member of the quartz family. It can help you resonate with life force energy on a physical plane. Carnelian is a Fire Element Ally. Carnelian can be used on the navel and solar plexus chakra.
Cathedral Quartz - Cathedral Quartz represents a place where the Divine is acknowledged as well as a site for learning. It is a gathering of forces. One person or a group – helping you to balance your intuitive sense of inner knowing with pure intellect – can use these crystals. These crystals can help you remember or gain insight into past memories in this lifetime or others. Consider these crystals to be cosmic computers. You awake filling refreshed and filled with creative solutions to any problems or tasks that have been troubling you. Folklore has said that it will help accelerate healing and was given to folks that were ill to increase their recuperative powers.
Chrysocolla – “Mother Earth” stone, activates female energies, alleviates fears, guilt & tensions, purifies home & environment, eliminates negativity from within one’s self.
Chrysoprase – This batch of Chrysoprase is going fast and who knows if we will every find another batch that is so pretty and pure. When you pick up any one of these stones you can feel the lightheartedness and joy that it brings. What a delightful stone Chrysoprase is one that can calm, balance and soothe! Chrysoprase was believed to have been worn as an amulet by Alexander the Great. This is a magical stone, which can heal your heart and soul!
Citrine – The energy of citrine is one of manifestation and personal power. Citrine is a variety of quartz. It can help you to resonate in harmony with Divine Will. Folklore has it if you place a piece of citrine in your cash box it will draw money to it. It can also help you detoxify your physical, emotional and mental bodies. It will enhance your body’s healing energy. Citrine provides powerful alignment with our Higher Self. For many years, Citrine has been called “The Merchant’s Stone”.
Clear Quartz – The energy of clear quartz is clarity. It is one of the purest and most versatile forms of crystal. Its energy can clear and amplify. Clear quartz will help you to resonate with the Light energy. It has the ability to amplify, transform, store, focus, and transfer energy. Crystals have piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties. Piezoelectricity is where electricity is produced by pressure. Many of our early cultures such as Native American, Mayan, Aztec, African and Celtic used to strike quartz crystals with a wooden mallet, resulting in a flash of light. Pyroelectricity is produced by temperature. Simply holding a crystal in your hand gives enough heat to generate the pyroelectric effect. Clear quartz is a Storm Element Ally. Copper – A very strong conductor of energy. An aid for exhaustion. Supplies balanced strong energy to the body and mind. Will help in aligning the physical and emotional bodies. Will also help in detoxifying your body.
