Of Our Seven Major Chakras & Reiki*

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

Good Thursday afternoon, Enlightened Ones. Arthur here.

I got the idea to post this Blog today after sharing Reiki with Sandye long distance last night. It was a Reiki Treatment that we both needed – and it totally renewed and restored us both back to our optimal levels of wellness.

So, let’s discuss…

OF OUR SEVEN MAJOR CHAKRAS & REIKI

The Major Chakras are the seven brightly colored Energy Centers/Magnetic Vortexes – are our intake centers for the Universal Life Force Energy we have flowing within and without us. The energy taken in goes to the organs closest to that chakra. The energy is very important for the proper functioning of organs. If a chakra stops functioning, the intake of energy will be disturbed and so will the organs in the immediate area. If this dysfunctional state persists for an extended period of time, that particular part of the body will weaken. Then, disease will occur. Reiki works through the chakras to balance the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional bodies.

The ability to channel Reiki is acquired when it is transferred to the Student through what is called an Attunement process that is part of every Reiki course. The ability to call upon Reiki energy is yours for as long as you live after the attunement process, it doesn’t wear off or wear out (provided your gift to channel Reiki is never used for any purpose that is not of/for the Greatest Good).

The attunement process creates a Reiki channel through which Reiki can flow. When one simply thinks of giving Reiki healing it will be activated. The reiki energy will then be drawn into the crown chakra and from there will flow through the chakras and then down each arm streaming out through the palm chakras.

The Root chakra (red color) is located between the legs positioned downward toward the ground. It is related to our will to live. It supplies energy to our spinal column, adrenals and kidneys.

The Sacral chakra (orange color) is located just above the pubic bone and has entrances both in the front and back of body. It is related to our sexuality. This chakra supplies our sexual organs and immune system.

The Solar Plexus chakra (yellow color) is located in the midsection and has entrances in both front and back of body. This chakra is related to our intuition, who we are in The Universe, how we connect to others and how we take care of ourselves. It supplies stomach, liver, gall bladder, spleen and nervous system with energy.

The Heart chakra (primary color: green; secondary color: pink) is located in our chest cavity. This chakra is related to love and will and opens in both the front and back of body. Through it we sense love. The front is related to love and the back chakra to will. It brings energy to the heart, circulatory system, and upper back.

The Throat chakra (blue color) is located in the throat area and has openings in both the front and back of body. This particular chakra is associated with our sense of hearing, smell, taste. Supplies energy to bronchi, lungs. It is related to giving and receiving and telling our truth.

The Brow or Third Eye chakra (violet color) located in front and back around the forehead. This chakra supplies energy to the lower brain, pituitary, eye, ears, nose and the central nervous system. It is related to conceptual understanding and aids in carrying our ideas in a protocal in order for us go about accomplishing them.

The Crown Chakra (white and/or purple in color) is located at the top of the head (crown) radiating outward to the sky. This Chakra supplies energy to our upper brain and the eye. It is how we get our “direct knowing” and integrating ourselves with spirituality.

Generally speaking, the Front chakras are said to do with the function of our emotions, while the chakras in the back of our body corelate to our freewill. The Chakras located in our head are directly connected to our reasoning functions. Any disruption and blocks disrupts our energy and causes illness… or “dis-ease”.

Reiki is a amazing system of healing which can greatly increase the energy flowing into our Chakras; which can greatly benefit our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional bodies in many ways. If you have never experienced a Reiki treatment (in person or long-distance), I highly recommend it to you. You’ll be thrilled that you did.

See you tomorrow, Brothers and Sisters In Light!
