In today’s Blog, I wish to spotlight Malachite - my very favorite Crystal of all. It is forest green to dark green with beautiful parallel bands in its natural appearance.
It originates primarily in Australia, Chile, and Zaire. Copper can be used to increase and/or heighten the power of Malachite. Some refer to Malachite as “the mirror of the soul”. This crystal serves to reflect its Holder inner feelings externally for all to see. So if you happen to be feeling down at all – or dealing with negativity – do NOT carry Malachite until those issues pass. Also, do not use Malachite in the preparing of an Elixir because water passinig through this crystal is immediately made toxic to the Human body. This gemstone is a living example/reminder of the duality that is always present in our Linear life.
Malachite is known to help guard against nightmares. It is a highly protective stone that promotes maturity and responsible behavior even as it protects its Carrier from accidents and physical harm. This crystal can be used to help bring balance to our relationships. In the business world, Malachite can be used to bring about successful results and to actively ward off business relationships with dubious people and with those of questionable character.
Historically, Malachite is a crystal which offers great protection to Children. During the Middle Ages, Parents used it to protect their Children from witchcraft and other unnatural metaphysical threats (i.e. dark magic, spells, etc.). For centuries, this gemstone has been used to defend against the ‘evil eye’.
I give this Crystal my very highest recommendation. If you don’t have a Malachite, please get yourself one. ASAP. See you tomorrow!
